I tossed all my old hardware so I'm no help here but I never thought of making your own pucks it should be super easy just have to find the right material

I cannot believe people are actually considering hockey pucks to do a bodylift on their vehicle in 2015 never mind their hummer... DO NOT do it. For starters the rubber that pucks are made of deteriorates from road salt, heat and all conditions found on a vehicle. When you drill a hole in the puck you create a stress point and if you have ever cast bushings or cut apart rubber you know that when it is pulled out of the mold it is in the shape that is the strongest and the surface finish is totally different than where you mechanically remove material or tear the rubber trying to change its shape. The pucks are cheap. We just bought them on summit racing for like $67 shipped. The bolts are the expensive part. The only online place that even lists them is fastenal and they are over $11 a piece and you need twelve... We have commercial accounts open to get them at a different supplier much cheaper thankfully.

I already found 1" alum pucks. It's the bolt dimms I needed as we have every size and grade bold at the shop. [emoji106]

I was considering the hockey pucks as I've used in the past but would rather use alum or steel due to the vehicle

You have to consider the fact that you have to jack the body up further than 1 1/4" to get them installed. You certainly could damage the linkage during install if you go the extra height. I would not risk it for 1/4".

Does anyone know what adapter is needed to lengthen the steering shaft? I have 2x3" Zone pucks and my bolts ready. I've seen a couple photos but can't find the manufacturer. I could make one but time is the issue

Yes. It will be a slow process. Will be looking at radiator hoses, gas fill hoses, brake lines, clips exetra. Only going 2" max. I will cut the spacer down to 1 1/2 if needed

Nah. I've decided to only go 1.5 for safety of the steering shaft and I have rock sliders welded into my frame. If it shows to much in will weld in gap spacers. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

This guy did a 2" B.L.
Offcourse he went all the way and added 40" tires on top of a rancho.
You can see he modded his front bumper really well to hide the B.L. the rear bumper was relocated upwards too.
