That's why welding on your own frame is so nerve racking! Lol things like this really need to be thought out. Hopefully he can find solutions

It would be nice. I just don't like publicly talking about "competing" forums, and "stealing" members. Time will make them migrate by themselves like we all made it here, when we found the other forums lacking.

I agree that's why I just posted that it was sold and I found some info. I didn't post a link to send people there or pm him here. I think I may say to him that he has a special h3 and alot of people have questions so he should join all hummer forums and share some info. This knowledge can be golden

No need to apologize. In the end its not a big deal. Posting links to hxc hf elcova isnt as bad as posting a link to cho. Don't do that, lol That is recent and tension will probably always be there

It would of been nice if all forums could join together but people in this world prevent that. So we can just focus on making this the best place possible

I love it though, its the irony behind it. Its this huge mystery we all want to find out. Where was it built? no one knows... What has been done? we didnt know much until now and on top of it all the owners didn't know much about it. Chad especially...that guy was funny. I love how he got frustrated when I talked to him and couldnt figure out why everyone was asking questions about the front end.

Hey everyone, this is hilarious but I'm actually the guy who bought the H3. I stumbled upon this thread somehow. Well, from reading through this thing I figured out a couple of things: the Hummer is a huge mystery, there are some things that need to be "fixed", and that the damn thing used to have a cool roof cargo crossbar assembly! (I wish it still did). So if anyone has any questions, or needs some pictures posted up, please let me know. I'm just as interested in figuring this thing out as you all are. I also hope to fix certain things like the bump steer and such.

I hope to be a little more helpful than the Chad guy, and am happy to be on the boards. I do want that sticker the previous poster was speaking of! haha

haha I might, but this thread already has lots of pics of my truck. It is the vehicle of topic. I just want to get communicating with everyone since it's warming up outside. Hopefully I can iron out this steering issue. It isn't killing me and I'm used to it, I'm just not sure what kind of problems can occur as of right now. I'm not huge on off-roading so this is pretty much just a daily driver on city streets and minimal highway.

I think I've talked to him on the hummer-x forum. Everyone so far has been pretty helpful. I really do want to build this thing up and make it safer, and will definitely help everyone figure out the mystery behind exactly how this thing was put together.

Thanks for joining up! While the H3 is very capable in stock form and near stock form, a lot of people wanted extra strength from the front end, the H3 is sensor heavy and at a shop to do the custom solid axle setup it would cost an arm and a leg so your H3 seemed more of the DIYer can do on his own. It never reached forums and was a huge mystery so hopefully u can provide us with info and we will gladly help u however we can. Post up some pics and go wheeling with someone on here once you will be hooked! Welcome aboard!

Oh yeah, I've spoken to bebe and Recon on the other forum. So, reading through the thread, the Mike guy from finishline auto in Loveland says the ARB doesn't work. I didn't know that, and I'm not gonna lie, I don't know a whole lot about lockers and all so that's another thing to add to my list of things to do. And apparently a wider rim will help eliminate the bump steer?

Any pics you guys want to start sorting things out? Or just common pictures haha
