Mounted my CB radio. I ended up hiding the wires up through the console.

I'd take it to a local shop and just have them run pipes, see how it sounds without the muffler and with it on, and choose which you prefer. Shouldn't be too expensive 75$ or so around here.

Does anyone know what this tape covers? It's on the passenger side right below the windshield where the pass wiper is.

I was replacing my vent cowl today and noticed water was pooling here. I didn't remove the tape as I didn't want to let water in. I'm assuming my old h3 had this and others do as well. Only way to see it is if you remove the vent paneling that goes where the windshield wipers are.

Just had it dropped low enough to check drain tubes. What are you looking to do?

I have 4 12's in the back on 3200Wrms with subs up and port up, so everything is bouncing off of the thin metal roof. planning on getting thin strips of birch conturing then to the roof and glueing them on with epoxy. then another lair with wood glue/screwed into the first lair. Then bracing with some flat bar steel or something. This should stop the flex and give me a sturdy roof. Just wanting to see what I have to work with, if any of this will even fit/work with the headliner before I take the time to drop the whole thing.

Have you tried dynamat?

I've thought about using an actual deadening product, but why do that? When I can do it myself, cheaper, and have a better finished product.

My box is absolutely maxed out as far as space goes, so there would be no way to have subs or port back without losing that precious air space.

I couldn't see anything out of the back anyways, 37" spare. Amp rack is beneath the box.

It comes off pretty easy, I started pulling it off just to see what I was dealing with because I want to convert it to a black headliner

Speaking of subs, I did this last weekend. The prior owner had a box in there but left the wiring so all I had to do was put it in and connect it. I had to replace the foam since these are 2000 era subs and they were rotten.

The tape is there as a spacer/padding for the dash I believe. I shoved mine back in after I replaced the heater core.

Started test fitting the new bed rack that I am making for the roof top tent... going camping for the rest of the weekend and have a trip planned for the next weekend as well so the mounting "feet" will have to wait a week and a bit before I get to designing/making them
