Just curious!! If this could be offered to y'all with a 20" lightbar already installed that has a lifetime warranty. Who would be interested?? Remember group buys get bigger discounts.

I think a prerunner-esque hood/fenders/grille (like maybe what the Dakar/trophy truck H3's look like?) that opened up forwards like the H1/H2 would be pure sex.

Nothing to do with H3's..

But a buddy wanted a toolbox for his trailer tongue built as low-cost as he could get it. This is one 4'x8' sheet of .065" diamond plate aluminum... I still have to add the latch tomorrow.

and this was the extra from the 4'x8' sheet. Dimensions of the box are 22" tall, 47" wide at the back, 19" width from front to back.

I did have to use an extra piece of non-diamond for the floor though.

Was just watching Expedition Overland and I thought of something I'd LOVE to see. Some sort of modular spare tire carrier. I'd love to be able to put a Gerry can or a couple rotopax containers on the passenger side and a set of maxtrax on the drivers side. Nothing too crazy on the hinges but it'd be awesome to carry some more expedition-type gear. My hi-lift and shovel fit up on the roof rack so I personally don't need an option for those. But maybe a base system that mounts the spare and allows the customer to pick which attachments they'd like to add.

Ok, though it'd be a bit more costly how about a modular bumper w/ swingaway tire carrier similar to ARB's offerings for the other offroad vehicles out there. That would ease the load on the tailgate hinges and allow adaptable mounting configurations.

This is true. I already have a Thorparts rear bumper so I'd be only wanting the swingaway part. I was suggesting a new carrier for the ease of using it with multiple bumpers, stock or not. I've seen pics with guys carrying tons of weight on those over spare racks and what not. Apparently the H3 hinges are beefier than most. I'm sure I could buy a swingaway for another vehicle and make it work.

I just sprayed the gelcoat on the hood pod. I'm currently working on making a deal to make it so I can offer these with an LED bar already installed and ready to go, to where [any of] you [interested] would not have to make any modifications at all to run it.

This is is a terrible picture of the gelcoat, but other than the hole not being already cut in the front, this would basically be what the finished product would look like. This is a white gelcoat, which is a hard, waterproof, non-porous material (the same material that fiberglass boat hulls are coated with) It would also be offered in gloss black, and flat black. If you want it to custom-paint match the rest of your truck, you can scuff and paint the gelcoat whatever color you like. If there is enough interest I could also do carbon fiber. I would imagine that the cost would push most of you interested in just going with fiberglass.

Finished a RTT mount rack for a Frontier. I wanted to make the gussets have an arc to them, he wanted them straight. I think they would have looked better with a slight radius.

If I'm going to design a competitive lift system it won't be like Rancho's at all:

As far as the winch bumper goes, .190" aluminum would be great for most people's 3's. But if the consensus would like steel, that could be done too (cheaper than Al).

Yup, exactly where I want to go long term, anything else I can hack together my self.

Or a upper control arm with a 1.0 or 1.5 inch uniball bearing
