What is your plan ...with the hitch mount?
You could just get some heavy-wall square tube and some plate steel & weld one up. Add any custom touches you want/need for your application. Sounds like you've thought about doing that already... Good luck. If you get one installed or made-up, show...
Crawl up and measure the length your brake line is. Make sure to accommodate an extra 3/4" ....the length of the flared end into the nut. That gets you in the ballpark. Measure the OD of the screw ends too...to make sure you get the same. It should be metric I 'believe'. Then go to your parts...
I would personally go with a 'greaseable' Cardin pin/ball/bearing ....if it were me. That's a weak area with D-C joints. There's a small cage bearing in there (on most) which NEEDS regular greasing and not that difficult with a grease needle. When it runs dry the pin deforms and then you have...
Does your scanner allow for real-time misfire counter? Might want to see what's happening. Could be the plug/coil or even compression. You might want to check compression ...esp on the #3 or #4 cylinders (esp #3) to see where things stand. And throw an oil pressure gauge on the engine.
What...
Ever check inside your tk's throttle body for carbon build-up around the butterfly valve, and behind it? Only takes a very small amt to throw things off. It's an easy routine maintenance item that is often overlooked. Happened to me. If there are build-ups, Clean with some TB cleaner and a...
The I-5 engines aren't complete crap. Actually it's a rather high-tech engine, and quite a nice design. A few key weaknesses keep them from being great engines. Many owners have gotten well over 300k on them. The 5-cyl puts out a LOT more power than the ole Jeep 4.0 I-6 and more torque, better...
I don't know that I'd be too worried if I didn't have an adventure pkg. Depends on the type of off-roading you do, and how you use your H3.
For DD use, trail riding, mud, snow .....a 4:1 xfer case is not handy at ALL compared to a 2.1 non-adventure transfer case. In snow for DD use or getting...
Electric power steering (EPS) do have some good design elements in theory. Especially like you say, for SAS. In practice ...on the Dodge Ram forums ...they are a common failure point. And rather than being a $299 part, you're looking at $2,600 and 4-8 week wait to get one (which tells you how...
Gas engine.... 6-spd tranny. It looks like the H3 might have looked if they didn't discontinue it.
I wonder how large it'll be? Is it coming out or just a concept?
If it's in the current H3-ish size range, smaller than a H2, larger than a Bronco, might be something to think about. If it's...
That's the L side of the AC Delco filter which collapsed inward. Seems to run fine. Been on there for a yr. Not like the bearings are spectacular anyway. Life goes on.
What do they say??? "You can't kill an Atlas 3.7L!"
....they die on their own LOL!😂
[broken pump] Ouch! What fluid were you using? Not that it really matters.
I saw that pump on RockAuto with the reservoir. Round body....Looks like a Colorado or some other pump to me. I've looked at both pumps, pretty sure the Colorado reservoir won't fit on. Has anyone tried it? Worst case...
Been going through a low Power Steering issue lately. Decided to back-flush the PS unit before I buy a new pump. Thought I'd post a picture how I did the flush for others who might need to do the same. A plugged internal filter is not uncommon cause for PS issues.
First remove the pump and...
Does your gauge still work properly?
OK, I havent looked to see if it's available, hopefully you'll find one.
But for what it's worth, if you Can't find a new fuel pump, don't fret. I'm the kind of guy who likes to buy OEMp parts...... but I have to admit I've had a few vehicles I've owned...
Start by looking at the obvious stuff up front by the motor (up front..easy to get to). Remove motor, look at gear. See if you can slide it back. Be cognisant of the cables/belt (can't remember which)... so you keep them straight. Like I say, it literally takes like 5 min to drop the headliner...
Here's the link of (Colorado) pump differences. Maybe there are multiple Colorado differences too...IDK.

Some oil leaks are harder to pinpoint than a person would think. Esp when everything's oily. I've been there on various engines over the yrs. Long road but glad you got it fixed!
Start by checking the fuse if you haven't already.
Pull off the lace around the sunroof and the headliner should drop down a bit to see the motor and mechanism a little better. See if anything is loos as far as the retracting mechanism goes. Backprobe the motor to check for power. You can...
There's a plastic gear that commonly breaks, or the teeth break off. It's available off ebay for like $10-$15. Not sure that's your problem, but dig into it. Might be what you need. I bought one just to have as a spare...just in case...
That was back in the 80's a guy could swap eproms. lol
Trace back your brake wiring. Look in your bulb connectors just to be sure nothing is shorted. Could be a shorted brake switch or even turn signal switch, or flashers. It's going to require some meter work.
How is the battery to body (and...
As far as the other errors go, has your tk ever been in an accident? There's a sensor that monitors intertia and stability under the driver's seat. Those have been known to go flaky for some forum members in the past. You might do a general google search on those errors and see what comes up...
