Your input is appreciated but sadly even if I wanted to I dont have access to those chemicals here in Qatar and we cant ship those by air to here.

So now the mechanic moved ahead and we will be inspecting the bearings in the process...

How much does all that cost? To pull a motor and tear it down?

I got quoted $3000 for a cam and new lifters lol.

Got my tires installed. 315/75R16 cooper MTPs
She rides so much better now vs the stock duelers. They are a relatively new offering from discount tire.

I did a temporary fix on my cracked exhaust manifold with a product called thermosteel. I just need it to last until after my road trip.

Another update:

Just got back from the mechanic, turns out main culprit is a stuck oil relief valve inside the oil pump, its staying in the open position causing oil pressure not to build (the exact wording was that oil is bypassing in the engine)
Oil pump needs to be cleaned before better decision to replace it or not, but 90% ok, so is the chain.
The connecting rod bearings (they look linke rings) have scarring on the inside so those neef replacing, main bearings are in great condition though...

Went wheeling with the front doors off. It is so nice to be able to see exactly where you are placing your wheel! In the future I definitely want to make half doors and replace the headliner with some sort of vinyl material so I don't need to worry if I get mud on them.

What did you use to make the headlights

Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

You mean like literally?

New oem replica headlights. A dremel, 3m windshield sealant. Morimoto mini H1 7.0 projectors.

Easy off oven cleaner, spray paint, a screwdriver, and an oven.

And probably a couple other things.

fixex an annoying rattle, was a heat shield on my exhaust pipe, used black silicone on my roofrack to stop vibrations, worked perfectly. Touched up paint. Added an American flag to the antenna. Installed color changing floor lights.

New brakes and Rotors soon
4° Angle shims going in
still have to carbon fiber vinyl wrap the 3 big tan pieces in the back.
Replace my RGB remote for my halos.

Got my bad wheel hub fixed, it was terrible. Happy I didn't try and do it myself because it was frozen in the knuckle. Cvs hopefully will stop leaking since I fixed my crossmember bushing.. Time will tell. Also redid my herculiner again! Damn fenders look terrible (fading) so this time I'm going to clear coat them with polyurethane clear coat. Tried to get it off with a putty knife but it was terrible

Finally found an extra grille for a reasonable price. Drop all the fenders, grille and brushguard off for Line-x on the 14th.

New half shaft, wheel hub, and entire brake line for the driver's side. Putting the factory bends in the brake line may have been the hardest part

Painted my headliner matte black with duplicolor fabric/interior paint.
Quite the project to take on by myself and finished in only a few hours

Also touched up all of the herculiner with some polyurethane clear coat.. Looks amazing now.
