V8 oil leak...

Do it in your driveway. You’re going to need about 2-3 feet worth of extensions to get to the top transmission bolts. The job really isn’t that bad. Plan for an all day job. It gets a little messy when the trans starts leaking from both ends. Then move out east towards Falcon.

If it's not the sensor and the rear main seal itself looks ok, then it's either the oil pan (which I think you said was loose?) or the rear cover (seals the whole back of the block from the top of the block to where the oil pan meets the block and is what holds the rear main seal). Odds are if the pan was loose than it is going to keep leaking until it's taken off, cleaned, and new rtv added where the rear cover and block joints are. Gasket might have junk in it now that is keeping it from sealing. While it could be the rear cover, I doubt it unless that somehow came loose too, or something wrecked the gasket like cleaners or something harsh.

Thanks not a bad idea!
If you go this route then what I would try is not driving it anywhere but simply start it up and run it for a minute then shut down the engine and check with the UV light. You'll have a better chance of finding the leak if you don't give it a lot of time to seep very far. You'll get enough splashing and mixing to get the dye where you need it in a short amount of time. Do it in 1 minute steps until you see the dye coming through.

Well, after a a good day. I come back home to this...

I popped out that round cover, the flywheel was dry. Only thing I can think of that caused this, I was diving like an Ahole on the highway today. Traffic and just stupid folks on the road had me pushing her pretty hard. It would be sad if my driving caused this...

Side note, I met Andre from the TFL today. I did the, dude I love my ride review. He's a pretty cool guy and we're going to make plans to do a trail run with their Gladiator and my T. Just a caparison kinda thing.

Saw the video you did with Andre from TFL today. Your T showed very well. Congratulations on your stardom.

Thanks, I hope to do another episode with them and their Gladiator. I'll have to borrow some 35's for that trip!

Looking forward to it. So you are telling me I didn’t have to buy 35’s I could have just borrowed them.

I don't need 35's for daily, there's a few guys in my area that will let me use a set for the trip. Wouldn't be far if the Gladiator was on 35's and I'm on 32's.
