I am at a level of extreme frustration...and I think the weather is just making it worse. Its snowing just 15 miles from me and wanna go play but nope. STILL 2WD. Over 2 months now...

I broke 9/27/13, I sent out my stuff october 13th. I was told I would have it for my weekend camping/wheeling trip on November 1st. I didnt get it, he thought I needed it for the 7th, which was a mistake then I was told the week of the 7th it will be here. Nope...Then it was finally being put together in mid november but realized he cryoed the broken R&P! I was told to send everything in the axle to him in disassembled form so he can use or ditch anything he needs but he made a mistake and cryoed the wrong R&P. That was mid november so he told me he would get the new R&P and I would have to wait till thanksgiving weekend for the next cryo run. I call and leave a voicemail before thanksgiving to confirm he has everything no call back. Call after thanksgiving and leave a voicemail to confirm its cryoed. No call back...In the beginning I was trying to not call much because I was told hes a pro, he knows what hes doing and dont over think it for him. I am confident he knows what hes doing but thats only when hes doing it, which he obviously wasnt doing much in terms of my axle assembly process. So after calling back multiple times yesterday I finally get a hold of him. I was told I am on top of the priority list...Which seems untrue! If the cryo process was over thanksgiving weekend then assembly would be monday or tuesday then I would have it by this weekend. He did tell me it would be done by this week (that was yesterday around 330) but I am not holding my breath. I will now call everyday until I get my axle.

I am extremely disappointed. On the phone he seems like a very cool guy and everyone I have seen on pirate have said nothing but good things about him but in terms of time management I am just disappointed.

RANT OVER.

Man if hes now on it let him take his time. Its a trial error process and this isnt some part u want him to get 90% correct, esp when its that critical. I can understand how frustrating it is eap when hes avoiding u, but if hes gna do a perfect job then hopefully this wld b the last time u do this.
Btw ive seen writeup on a seperate forum where someone reinforces the front diff and adds bolts to prevent deflection/parts moving out of place. Maybe u shld look into that.

I've contemplated doing that cover with bearing cap load bolts too...

I'm just trying to hang in there but I'm getting frustrated

This is why I do most of the work myself now. I don't want it to sound like this happens to everyone all the time. But I had to put a cage in my Camaro. I was told two weeks and it took almost 5 months. Missed a race on that one. Then I ordered a fabricated 9" housing. Same thing took a couple months to get. So hang in there it will be worth it.

Yes I have news....after he told me it was shipping out last Thursday or Friday I didn't have it this week so I called yet again...telling me its not done. Then he told me it would be shipped this week so I called Friday morning still not done. Then I called Friday night (this was yesterday) and said he was finishing it hoping to get it on a truck and to me today. I'm at work till 6 so I'm not sure.

He did apologize for having it for over 2 months and threw in a wiring harness for the locker at no cost, upgraded the shipping at his cost and didn't charge me for the rebuild kit just the R&P.

He said it may or may not make it on the truck for shipping so ill assume no seeing how this project has been going. If it didn't I should get it Monday or Tuesday...but I'm not holding my breath
