Moab Black Sheep Week - April 8-14, 2012

Good tires are always a huge benefit! When I had the BFG A/Ts I realized how hard the rubber is after they are worn down a bit. They did not grip nearly as well on Moab's slickrock as they did when they were new, or as well as many other tires did.

But those A/Ts did make for some great pics

Great picture Alex! When I get there I will see after the first day if I will put the 2 spares on the front...I wanted to get 2 new and use the 2 spares but couldnt do it after getting the head replaced...that was still expensive even though it was half off...I MISS MY WARRANTY!!

mid 70's and low 80's , looking good so far . town is getting crazy 500 bundles last week and about the same this week . we really needed this after the mild winter .

Stopped in at the storage unit last night, I will be bringing tools, 2 halfshafts, a lower A-Arm balljoint, 2 Upper A-Arms, 1 tie rod, possibly a steering rack (if the guy gets it delivered in time) and I will bring my stock driveshaft when I get my ThorParts driveshaft designed for the rancho lift....that should be arriving before the day I leave or will be shipped to moab...

Well just got my first taste of Moab last night around 11pm, and did it get me really excited or what, seeing all those rigs (even though most were jeeps), none the less it got me super pumped for this trip. If all goes as planned and i make good time i should be arriving Wednesday night around midnight. So hopefully a few of you guys are still up when i roll in. Considering i just did a 15 hr drive last night, this 6 hr drive should feel like nothing!

our first trip out from cali was cool we passed heeps on trailers for two days man ... but they were heading the other direction , thats even better .

i have gone thru about a third of the pile of split wood thats to the left of the carport in the last week and a half ... i hope its enough for the heepers .
