It appears several of us will roll in mid day Saturday. Timmay said there is some great entertainment that night over on Potato Salad Hill. The Jeep people will be finishing their week and will likely be in rare form! I'm not really hung up on particular brands and really enjoy seeing all the expensive hardware that will be wandering around Moab Saturday. I'm contemplating heading out a day earlier if I can find somewhere to stay.

Book with Motel 6, website may say there is no spots, but if you call you will most likely get a room.

Since CB is pretty much line of sight, it would be worthless to try and connect, even if the people were in their vehicles. CB channel is usually designated by the leader of the trip in the AM, but not a big deal.

Better to swing by the outpost and see what's up or get people's cell phone numbers.

durring the day is when the fun happens on P.S. There are a couple of GTG's on Sat night depending on where you want to be. I'll be at the OutPost, so I'm sure we'll meet up. If anyone is heading to Moab early, give me a call. We'll be there Thursday.

My damn CB....again! I had my second and final attempt to tune mine today. I could not even calibrate. Turns out the wiring in the Cobra was all twisted up with 3 broken wires. So, I'll get a new one on Mon or Tues and get that thing tuned the best I can....I refuse NOT to have one for trail riding this time. my last 4 trips out I have been having issues with that thing. Now I know why. I'll bring the old one for target practice. :giggle:

dont get too worried yet , historicly jeep week has always had a couple of days of bad weather ... we will be back to 70's-80's in a couple of days

Same weather here... we went from 80 at 9000 feet to 36 & snow! Back to 55/60 after tomorrow though! Not enough snow to sled, but too much to wheel in the high country!
