Hmm what did you guys use?

A few others and I used self tapping sheet metal screws. I got ones that were just big enough to fit through the hole, and then pre drilled and then screwed them in. I also run a 52 instead of a 50 incher which you can do with some bending.

I just got mine came with the 6 rivnuts then 4 self tapping sheet metal screws maybe because of people having problems with rivnuts?

I just drilled into the pillar and used 3 rivet nuts on both sides and I've pulled it off a few times

I have a 52" to install after I rhyno line the brackets...have you had any problems with the brackets coming loose using the self tapping screws?

I used self tapping screws from Home Depot in town. Never had any issues with brackets wobbling or coming lose. If you get wind noise from your light bar Oreilys sells a rubber door trim believe it's $12 push it on to the bottom to fins of the light bar and everything should be good to go.

Anyone know if these brackets are back ordered it there's a problem at G2? I ordered on the 4th and haven't heard anything.

Ordered G2 brackets and a curved 50 for Christmas. Can anyone help me on how they got their switch into the cab? I ran my spot lights into the cab by drilling a hole in the floor but id rather run them through the firewall but couldn't figure it out.

If you remove the left front fender liner, you'll find a nice hole through to the cab. I installed a grommet in the hole and ran my CB wiring through it. It's located below the A pillar, you'll spot it with the door open.

I ran my wiring through the existing hole in the firewall driver side. The hole is barely enough to run one extra wire, but its gona be very tight fit and it was better than drilling a new one.

This is the hood side, you can see the relay for LED mounted up and the switch wire mounted by the rubber boot under it.

Installed mine today...the only problem I have is theasy rocker switch stays lit after turn the truck off.I pulled the fuse until I figure it out...any suggestions??? It's a 5 prong spst rocker switch...

Does anyone have a contact number for G2? I ordered my brackets almost a month ago and I'm getting no replies to me repeated emails. Would love to call and talk to a human if anyone has a number! Love the looks of the brackets but their customer service doesn't seem to be up to par....

Same exact problem with me. G2 finally shipped my brackets after a month and I should be getting them in the mail tomorrow. Also can anyone tell me what size sheet metal screws they used to install their G2 brackets?? I do not want to waste time with rivets since I do not have a tool, instead I'm just going to coat my screws with silicone after I'm happy with the install.

I already have spot lights mounted with a 5 prong rocker switch and my light never turns off. The small led is not enough to drain your battery so you shouldn't have any problems with that.

Thanks. I threw the fuse back in and no problems. Just wanted to make sure I didn't wire it wrong.

about wiring.... there is a packet of wires that GM put in for their factory overhead clearance lights and fog lights... you can't run full power through them, but run the switch/relay with them is fine. On the outside, look next to the brake booster between it and the fender and you will see 4 wires taped to the harness. On the inside, up by the emergency brake, those wires come through the firewall....
