Hummer Ammo Can
Only slightly related, but in my search for a good storage solution for my H3 I came across an old 1944 Ammo Can in my brother's barn.
After using it a while, I thought it might be fun to color match it to the Solar Flare Metallic paint of my Alpha.
I learned that the GM paint code for my truck is WA502Q, and that its more common name is Inferno Orange (used on Camaros, etc.). I then found that I could get a matched rattle can for less than $20.
After beating out dents, stripping rust, and coats of primer, paint, and clear-coat, I was pretty happy with the result.
