I think you gave me the suggestion for them. They look to be very nice and aggressive!

So someone told me today to look at the tires I'm buying online and see the rim width range to see if it will fit on my stock rim then look at the width of the stock rims size to see if the tire will fit on my rim. So these 305's I'm looking at the rim width range is from 8-9.5 so does this mean this tire won't fit on my stock rim? Sorry guys first time for me to do this..

That 305 will fit on the stock rim. Alrock ran 305s on the stock rims until he upsized to 315s on the stock rims. Many others have run 305s on the stock rims. Trust us on this.

Thanks big unit! I'm just trying to make sure bc i was told by another place 305/70r16 tire range won't fit on our stock hummer rim size of 7.5 so maybe it's just the place i went to. I believe you all that they fit.

So it wouldn't be 305/70r16 on other threads I've read its 305/70r16[emoji53].

285/75/16 - stock size 33"
305/70/16 - 33" but wider
315/75/16 - 35"

All can be ran on the stock rims. Some shops will say you cant and thats when you find another shop

That's just my generalization. Best way to know and take the "depends" out of your guesswork is to do your research on the manufacture's specs of each tire...then you will know for sure the true diameter (height) & width. The info is readily available in the world wide web.

Very true. As is with anything. I picked up my duratracs used with about half tread for 150 bucks so I wasn't really picky with 315 vs 325. My next set I will go back to a 315 and hopefully have a smaller set of wheels by then.

This helped me out thank you! I was confused bc others said 305/75r16 but i figured it was 305/70r16 thanks!

Alright guys so i thank all of yall for the help and repeated answers. Sorry for all the questions you guys have proly heard 1 too many times lol. I went to a local tire store and they suggested some me da klever mt kr29 appears to be a great tire he said they will be mounted balanced and tax all included around 750 so thats a pretty damn good deal. Here is the tire, has some great reviews and appears to do well offroad. I'm getting the 285/75r16 btw. Anybody ever run these? I'll make sure to get a pic on here when I get them installed.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1404932540.369492.jpg
