Anyone have front/rear part numbers for the Bilstein 7100 series w/o lift?

I don't think any of the 7100 series would fit a stock H3 their smaller shock is the 8 inch travel which is a lot...I don't remember the whole compress and extended but I know the smaller 7100 series shock would fit the front of the H3 with a rancho lift...however you'll have to modify the lower arm as well modified the stock top shock mount...since the 7100's series only run with the eyelid end mounts they don't make them with the mounts that we would need in order to mint them on H3's maybe if you get them custom made then that way they would work...but I'm sure they'd run pricey. I'm planing on running 7100's series all around and modify the from shock mounts as I describe in order to run these shock...and see how it all turns out...but that would be around sometime on March. I like the fact that you can choose the calving of the 7100's series as well they are rebuildable. And they are cheaper than the 5100 and 5160's series if you know where and how to get them. You can look at 125 per shock in the 7100's series when most 5100 5160 start at 180 or so.

Can't wait to get the 7100's for the rear! After the SOA that's happening next Thursday!!! (Assuming Crown Performance Brake lines get here in time!)

How much lift will you get with SOA and are you upgrading bump stops also? What are or will you run in the front?

I have an 06 h3 3.5l. I5 and wanted to know if i should go with the rancho 4" lift with upgraded shocks , rancho and SOA rear, level the front with upgraded shocks or stay stock height all around just upgrade the shocks. Again keep in mind it is a 3.5l not the v8. Thanks

Can't go wrong with the rancho. That's for sure that lift kit come with some confidence. Make the H3 a whole different beast. And I'd go with others than Rancho shocks if at all possible. It all comes down to your budget since you are looking at about a 3-4k investment

Thanks for the recommendation. With the 4 inch lift would it be a sluggish ride? I have my PCM tuned and can get it retuned to the ride height specs. I could run 37's if I go this route right? This is my daily driver...

I ran 35's and t-bars crank for a year no tune, and the ride wasn't bad but it wasn't great either, performance drecrease a little but nothing too drastically mpg took a hit but then again I'm tune for 32" tires not 35"s. and now I'm with the rancho still 35's and no tune and the ride feel more like factory before I level the front by cranking the bars and as for engine performance remain the same I didn't noticed not decrease or increase in MPG...I'm running rancho shock since rancho itself installed the lift and everything for free (thanks to a 06H3 for letting me about the add rancho posted).
Anyways since you can get it re-tune then I'd say go for it specially since u want to go with 37"s, "why not it can't hurt" Imas soon as my 35@s are done for I'm going with 37-8"s MTRz itch Kevlar, and I'm getting a tune at least just to be back at 35@s performance experience or perhaps better. Also It all depends where the truck is being driven, here in California there's some steep hills in certain areas but where I live it's mostly flat with baby hills here and there. And even now with the rancho and 35's I can still Cruze at 70-80 on the highway not problem at 2,500 rpm 3,500 when going up hill and 3,500 rpm is if I didn't had a good speed and momentum going when going up hills. Depending on the steepness of the hill I'd either maintain or decrease about 5-10 miles which in my opinion isn't bad since I ain't forcing the engine to 4,000+ rpm. My truck is a DD as well. And so far I don't have any complains or regrets on my current set up. Once again you must keep in mind that you aren't going to go from 0-60 in 3 seconds but then again the truck was developed for that...you get speed and and maintain it but it will take twice or triple the time and distance than that of your typical sedan or SUV with a V8. Also you got keep in mind that the higher and bigger on tires you go the faster you are going to wear down pieces and what nots.
