Mid pipe removed, I have a feeling the cats clogged. So I’ll remedy that, use your imagination how.

For the 14 bolt I was planning on stock springs for the spring over. If I don’t get the lift I want I’ll go from there, prices are rediculous for locally made lead springs now a days.

Been researching and calling around about leaf springs. All said and done I can finish the rear for $400-600, and that’s getting the factory springs to work (not deavers, which are ~$1100). I’d rather put that money into the 14 bolt and just get it over with. I can save next year right? Cleaned...

Hummer H3 HD Dana 50/ CV shaft upgrade

Installing a 14 bolt and would LOVE to regear to something lower than 4.56. That’s really been my only hesitation for installing it, so a gear set isn’t wasted.

    Nobody has any new guns?

Finished a kp-15 and now looking into a .44 or .357 for camping and fishing endeavors.

What’s the issue when front driveshaft is removed

They’re full time 4 wheel drive trucks that are now 14-18 years old and theyll require maintenance to keep on the road. I’ve been daily driving mine for a decade with now 200k on the dash. Sorry for your luck but if you can’t afford to play get an accord.

2024 Black Sheep Week, Hurricane, UT - Mar 31-Apr 5

Even with the fomo, I’m not going to make it. Starting a new job next week and the initial 90 days puts me right after BSW. It’s a good career move and they seemed hesitant when I brought it up. You guys have a great time, will be looking forward to recaps.

    Heat

Did you reuse the coolant temp sensor from the original motor or did you use one that came with the new motor. If it’s the latter it’s difference in sensor sensitivity. Verify coolant temp with a temp gun. Basically anything between 190F - 220F is normal at idle. Depends heavily on ambient.

Will these new Bronco wheels fit our trucks?

Yes, I believe it was the center bore that doesn’t work. We had some bronco wheels laying around and I compared them on the parts truck. I think they’d look great

Front ends about wrapped up, waiting on some measurements so I can fabricate some bump stops, need to order shocks, etc. For the rear I’ll be buying a new set of leafs and sending them to get rearched about 2” (whatever the fab tech add a leaf is), pair it with a 6” long shackle and that...

Removing timing cover, what's all involved?

Expect to remove the harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley. Have you not tried an extractor yet?
  16. EndeavoredH3

    Will it leak without it?

It’ll Probbaly hold until the system gets up to pressure. Drilling and extracting is easy, the hardest part is telling yourself your center and patient.

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Well, my vision of a Huggy, trail, Baja, KOH truck jumped into my lap. It’s going to sit for a while as I wrap mine up, but I will feel no remorse taking a sawzall to any part of this truck. Always feels good to save something from going to the scrapyard

With life as busy as it is and with sandhallow coming up, have to make some decisions. With all the HMMWV and H1 Work going on at PHR there’s been no time to get the 14 bolt built, let alone have any down time to do a spring over. Plus it’s wheeling season. After doing the 4 parts worth of...
