Well finally got my winch in, now needing a mount. I'd like to get the CB mount if any y'all are selling one but mainly just want any kind. My cousin kinda gave me the idea to try an make one that bolts into the D ring areas kinda like the high mount. Thought of the style I should get and/or advise on making one

I personally prefer to have a winch "hidden" or concealed behind a bumper, which alone has its own set of problems, but that way no one can plan to take it, vandalize it, it looks much cleaner and it is protected in the event of a front end collision (be it a rock or another car).

That said there are a few examples on here of people who both built and bought a winch mount that is bolted up behind the D ring mounts.

What winch did you order

12500 lbs tough stuff, dad has had one for 2 years now and pulls his excursion out the mud all the time with it

PM frumaker - he made his own. Not sure if he's making them for others but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thank you Alex! I would be willing to make them for others however I don't want to step on anyone's toes since I did not make it from an original idea. I would be cheaper but don't want to hurt feelings. Anyone can feel free to hit me up and we can discuss further.
