No accessories, bumpers, sliders, no racks... Nothing that does not directly affect performance.

JUST mods that make it faster, higher, more capable, whatever.

Seeing the TomP shock mounts last week made me wonder what else is out there that would make a big difference that I don't know about.

My truck does well, but always looking for the next step, if I can find someone to copy the OKoffroad plates, that'll be next, and the locker is coming in a few weeks, but wondering what else is out there!

I had a buddy build a RC track on my property,

so I spent some of my locker money on some parts for a car he gave me... been having fun with that, but now it's time to get a few things done on the H3.

Whatcha got????

Hey cheesehead, any pics of how they tucked the exhaust? That's something I could do for free, but not sure where to put it.

I was just in Sauk weekend before last... and I'm already out of cheese curds, want to make a trip to CO & bring me some??? :D

Rancho lift for added clearance, deaver springs to actually retain the height in the rear, rancho adjustable shocks, tomp low profile shock mounts

K&N filter, air doc, magnaflow exhaust.

Added rear locker

Future mods... PCM tune, 4:1 T case, CI diff w/ front locker, custom spring over and get rid of the low hanging spring hangers.

Nothing Serious..

  • Gibson Dual outlet cat-back...
  • K&N CAI..the nylon tube version (Metal tubes conduct too much heat to the intake air..Hence defeating the purpose of a COLD Air Intake..)
  • PCM retuned by PCMforLEss.
  • High speed Chrome Lugnuts

Well...in terms of on-road performance, I've got a Superchips, AirDoc and K&N filter.

I'm looking into a performance muffler. I believe the Alphas would require a 3" inlet and outlet. Can anyone with a custom exhaust confirm that? I'm looking into a 40 or 50 Series from Flowmaster eventually.

I have a V8. Good enough performance for me. All mods are done to clean up and make things more reliable.

Maybe I phrased that wrong, I meant offroad. I'm looking to find what else works that I haven't tried yet. (recon & bebe... you're disqualified!!! I can't afford what you two have done!!!)

I've got a cold air, and a dual exh., the shop I ride for has a superships account, so I'll probably do that at some point, but I'm looking for whatever will keep me going up the hill mostly... and I mean a hill full of rocks! :D

Oh, well for that your going to need the full "anti-gravity suspension kit"

Can you start another thread & explain how that's done... That looks like a great idea. I'd prefer to float about 4' above the ground though... only looks like you've got about 2.5' of clearance, can that design be improved upon???

For offroad performance I would start with where you get hung up the most...probably the spring hangers right?

well... that was supposed to be the point of this thread, but obviously I worded it wrong. I was trying to find solutions to the issues I've got, and see what other people have done.

Spring hangers, have yet to see a single solution other than SOA... and I'm not going to do that without a better idea what/ how to do it.

shock mounts, I've seen two solutions, neither of which are still available

lift, I've seen the two specific lifts, not sure what else I can do on the rear, thinking about a junkyard AAL, but I have yet to see anyone who has done that.

I just don't see a lot of options on here when I look, so I thought I'd ask... but not getting much in the way of what I was hoping for.

  • B/A Rear skids
  • OEM Undercarriage Protection
  • BFG KM2 Tires (315/75R16)
