Trail Duty bump stops came in after being backordered for a while. Got them installed. I think it's a massive improvement in ride quality on pavement. No nose dive with normal braking. No roll around turns. Should have gotten these back when I first cranked the T-Bars.

Finally installed a new stereo that's been sitting in the box since December.

Long story short....had a pioneer avic unit, it was stolen. Stock speakers up front through head unit. Alpine amp in rear hooked to a fosgate sub....nice basic sound.

I installed a pioneer avh4200nex. I hooked both usb cables in and ran one through the unused button in the bottom of the dash. Here are some pics. Not pretty, but the thing works great and now has android auto.

Btw, that alpine amp is 14 years old and still running like when I bought it. It was in another car before my 06 h3

Replaced my serpentine belt with a gator belt along with idler pulley and belt tensioner. Then I undercoated my back end.

Imgur is the best photo platform imho, they started off as an image app for reddit, thus share a lot of their values and practices.
And probably won't hold your photos for ransom in the future.
A lot of good content on there too.

Cannot go wrong with those.

I've had two sets and will get a set for my current H3 at some point.

Looks great man.

Thanks. No I let my local professionals handle this lol.

I found a shop that does it for the car dealerships around here.

So what is that $1000 for the skins? How much for the labor? Are those full leather or just the seating surface like the OEM?

Looks great BTW!

$700 for kit. $500 labor. Like oem. The front of the front seats are all leather, in the rear, only the inserts are leather.

I also got heated seat pads installed in the front seats.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue for me, I have a really annoying whinning coming out of the engine bay I think. It sounds a bit more rough than a bad belt. The noise only occurs when the truck is in gear, if I'm in park or in neutral then it ceases for the most part. Also, giving the truck gas makes the sound subside a little bit as well. I feel like it might be the power steering pump because it also gets slightly louder when I turn the wheel. It is not hard to turn the wheel at any point however. If anyone might have an idea what it could be or steps I could take to further troubleshoot the issue, it would be of great help. Thanks in advance!

PS pump, mine did the same. They are not that hard to replace either, 1.5 hour tops. $120 for a Cardone Select on Amazon.

Found the stock pump and the p/s lines on gmpartsdirect.com for just under $200. Is the Cardone supposed to be better than the stock pump?

Installing my cb, but was just given a suggestion for power cable. Do you guys think using scotch locks to connect the power wires from radio to power wires for the power seats is okay to do? Or should I actually run the wires back to fuse box?

Are you giving it its own circuit and fuse?

I would probably At least run the positive back to the fuse box and keep the ground as close and clean to the CB as possible. A long ground is a great way to make an unwanted antenna on an auto of any type.

With any radio it's best to hook directly to the battery for the positive supply and the body for the ground. This goes a long, long way toward avoiding interference and safety issues. I especially would not hook it to the power leads of a motor, that's just asking for trouble. You could hook it to the fuse box, but it's best to hook the positive directly to the battery (protected by a fuse of course).

Oh, and I can't stand the use of Scotch-lok connectors in an automotive environment. They're great and all, but not water resistant and if used incorrectly can damage the wire.

Went for an alignment only to be told me 10K miles DORMAN UCA are shoy due to worn ball joints.
Those 10K were strictly street driven with worn out stock 32" tires.

Thought I'd let ppl know
