New front brake pads and rotors and then swapped the stock reverse light bulbs with Diode Dynamics XP80 (520 Lumen) backup LED's.

I blacked out the mirrors and all the door handles with plasti dip, I also blacked out the factory chrome H3X brush guard and the lower front bumper and the covered fuel cap. I removed one of my Nerf bars because I like the looks better, but I've decided I need the nurf bars to get in and out of the truck, My wife has RA and struggles to get in it anyhow , without the bars she can't at all and I'm old enough to find it difficult myself so I put it back on and blacked them out also.

The brush guard looks really good! I think it look better if you also added some platty to the wheels. Here is what it would look like: (Not my rig)

I have the 16 in wheels and blacked out the hubcaps. After two years the stuff is holding up great even though I have completely caked the wheels in mud and have taken a pressure washer close to it multiple times.

Sold it [emoji24] I'm looking to buy a house and a pay off all my credit cards before I get back into it. It's basically an excuse to save up and get an H2 or an 09-10 h3 with lockers.

Moved the antenna from the hitch to the bumper. I had to add a steel plate at the base to stabilize it. The top of the bumper is thinner steel. Someday I'll upgrade my rear bumper.

Replaced my busted radiator with an $90 TYC from Rockauto. I was about to pull the trigger on the $500 aluminum CSF but then came to my senses.

Properly mounted the efans and transmission cooler once and for all.

Also replaced the front shocks with an identical pair. Got my Ride quality back.

Upper control arm ball joints are shot, I know Dormans are crappy so its moog vs replacing and servicing my current set. Anyone had a really bad experience with moog?

Where did you get those upper A-arms? They are not OEM. Stock arms are aluminum and do not have a grease nipple for the ball joint. Those look custom made and as such those ball joints are probably replaceable/rebuildable.

I was not planning on tossing these by any means, just setting them aside until there are no good uc arms left on the shelves.

Got the set off outfitters who were working on taking them to market. The interest was there but prob not enough to go through with production. I can see why, these are very solid and I love them.

I just remembered that I can use a spanner to take the play out without replacing the balljoints. Truck has been down for so long I completely forgot about that.

I was just about to send you a PM that you can totally take the cap off and adjust the preload on the joint again with a spanner. I dont think you will need to do it for a long time, but the rebuild kit for that joint is pretty inexpensive and easy to install.

I wish we kept those arms, we just made matching lower control arm bushings for our shop truck and it is very noticeable that even the new upper control arms allow alot of lateral play.

New Tires 33" Cooper Discoverer A/T3.
Maybe 35" next time, if it's not my daily driver and I live closer to rock crawling.

Changed front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid.
Is the transfer case drain plug suppose to have a magnet on it? Mine did not.

Plasti dipped the H3 rims. Everything else I've used that stuff on has lasted years. I hope the same goes for the wheels.

Finally got some free time to replace the thermostat and purge valve

I changed my thermostat yesterday. Excuse the ignorance. Didn't know anything about purging. Is this something I should do?

I didn't do anything special, just filled up the radiator and made sure the reservoir was at the correct spot. Heat is working good and its not overheating. I'll see how it is tomorrow on my hour commute.
