Brush guards will fit fine since this doesn't sit out any further than the stock impact bumper, I just prefer it without. The oem brushguard is more for looks than protection from anything other than maybe a vicious mosquito. I might add the optional Bull Bar to it later. Really glad I went with this over the Arb bumper.

Cool. Does the brush guard not fit now?

Yeah that looks sharp. I was just wondering what it would look like with the factory brush guard.

If I ever need a new bumper I'm going to try to copy your setup lol.

I had the exact same problem, too much gap above the winch makes it look a little odd with the grille protruding over the gap. Already had an extra single led bar so I made some 1.5" brackets and used the mounting points for the included grille. Wireless winch so no solenoid in the way.

No offence to CJ but the front bumpers never really did it for me.... until now!
That looks great!!!!!
I think the winch and the single row LED bar it fills in the gap that I wasn't a fan of and makes all the difference

Pulled the two diff end bushings melted then pressed out the OEM rubber bushings that were worn out and then replaced them with polyurethane bushings that I had cut down to size.... only took one pic:

Finally found my mystery coolant leek that i've had for the last year. I cold smell it but never see it. I rented a radiator pressure tester wow so much easier to do the job with the right tools. Pumped it up and waited till it started dripping. It ended up being the upper hose clamp at the motor side and it would trickle down the block but would dry up so I could not see it.

Well my harbor freight 9000 lb winch has had a rusted and locked up motor for a year. I disconnected the battery cable. I have opened the motor up and cleaned the rust and corrosion out a few time and decided to give up on it. LOL.

I have a smittybilt x20 10k winch coming with a synthetic cable and cover. Hopefully this one holds up better.

HF stuff is good for single use or very light use . The one good thing is they swap almost everything out when it brakes , have you tried returning it ? Then you could sell it and use that money for your Smittybuilt .

My ARB and Smittybilt winch are about halfway installed, hope to finish it up by friday. I know I work slow.but it will get done.
One other note the ARB bumper is very well built and well thought out.And comes with every thing needed in the box.

Looks good. Did you use some type of locking device on your winch.

Good idea never thought of that[emoji23] always thought if someone was gonna steal it they would have to go through a hell of a time getting it off but maybe not since its 4 bolts lol

There are companies who sell security blots that are just like the security lug nuts for rims and need a special socket to put on and take off... If you google it a bunch of options will appear

I will free the motor one last time after it's off. Then it will work again. Might sell it like that just won't risk letting it sit in the weather then expect it to work again.

The smittybilt is fully submersible. So let's see how it holds up.
