Has anybody water proofed the doors on the h3? My rear doors always let mud in when im off roading, or when I just hit a puddle on the road, and I would like to make the door as waterproof as I can. I would like to water proof the front and back. thanks!

Duck tape might work. I also have been wondering this because the constant leakage is annoying.

The one thing I learned with my previous 4x4s is that water always finds its way in, no matter what you do. That's why I stay clear of it unless its unavoidable.

That sounds like it's not sealing properly - I've never had water in my cab - even going through Fordyce creek.

You could go Dukes of Hazard style and just weld the doors shut.

You might could try some plastic sealant along the door panel. Or, it might be time to replace your rubber weather stripping.

Maybe the door arent sealed properly, but I am either going to try running a bead of silicone across the inside seal of the door, or I am going to look into getting window or weather proof strips and add on or beaf up the existing weather stripping

Never had an issue with mine. I do keep my weather seals treated with 303 UV protectorant - but that is just to maintain plyability. The "seal" is dependent on the weatherstripping itself and the door adjustment. Hopefully yours is a matter of adjustment or maybe you like to play in deeper holes than I get into.

I've never had any leakage on mine. I'd check the weather stripping and the door alignment before you start any radical fixes.

Never had a leak and I've gone through some pretty deep stuff. Nothing like serge or mudbug though lol

How can the doors be realigned? My driver door has always seemed a little low and I have to pull harder on it to close it. I remember the dealer at the time saying its normal...not that I ever believed that...
