For $700, buy the new transmission. Half the cost is in removal and reinstallation.

Yeah, we arrived at the same conclusion. Talked him down another couple of hundred. So the difference will be $450. And I'm doing the new and getting the warranty.

What about a Stage 3,4 or 5 PATC transmission for about the same money but with a lot better build than OEM? Just an idea I have been looking into myself.

Save your money from Patc. Buy the upgrade parts you want and have your trans rebuilder put them in.
