Tune up question.

For those that have tuned up their H3s, did you also replace the coil packs? My 3 is gonna hit 100K shortly, just curious if you folks think it would be wise to replace the coil packs while I replace the plugs since you have to remove them both anyways?

That would be costly. I would just clean and inspect each pack while changing plugs. Make sure the boots arnt getting to worn out and all.

I had a pack go bad around 60k due to moisture from water leaking in through the plastic on the hood. I replaced plugs the one pack and just cleaned the rest. I also reapplied silicon to the boots and rubber seals on reassemble.

Btw I knew a pack had gone bad because misfire and I was throwing a code.

I'd only replace a coil if it failed. I've done plugs a couple of times.
