Battery changed a week ago, I am able to put the key In and switch to accessory and everything works, aftermarket radio and 40" LED light bar. When I turn key to ON, nothing, pure silence. Everything turns off and when I switch key back to accessory everything goes back on again. The key doesn't get stuck in ignition and when Im in Accessory the security light doesnt stay on or blinks.

Any ideas? Tried gettig a jump but that didnt happen. Probably gona be towed to the shop soon.

sounds like a dead battery, but with a new battery in place... I dunno - check the wires to the starter for burned or broken is about the best I can suggest (and check fuses and relays).

Bad ignition cylinder? Did you try the "crank"position to see if it was just the "on" position that was dead?

What I was tryin to say was that when I switch to start the truck wouldnt do anything.

Anyway, the 3 seemed to have fixed itself! Left it for an hour and when I got back cranked it from the first time. Now im confused and I really need to find out whats wrong before Im left stranded in a remote location (wheeling trips)

Sounds like Passlock. Its a 10 or 15 minute timeout. My wife's H3 does it if she doesn't crank it until it starts. On mine I just bump it and its starting, kinda like a FADEC or auto-start on planes.

Generally the security light flashes, but you say that isn't happening. Next time it fails pull out the key and wait ten minutes then try starting again. If it starts after ten minutes then it suggests it's the Passlock issue and a new ignition housing is needed.

Check the battery ground at the vehicle.
I took mine off and ground off the paint around it and put a SS screw thru the sheet metal when gremlins started.
