I'm in the middle of doing a t-bar lift and just wondering how many turns it takes to start getting some lift. Lol. Done about 3-4 with my front end jacked up but only getting about a 1/4" of lift... Keep cranking?

It varies from side to side...One side may only take a few and the other several. This has been the case with several rigs and no problems yet

Cool! Yes kept cranking but my r passenger side is taking more turns than driver side. Got driver side dialed in at 23.5 though! Half inch to go on other side...

Yep I had to do 4 turns on the passenger side and like 2 on the drivers side to get my rig sitting at 23 1/4. Remember after some adjustment to drive it, and let it settle, then measure and adjust as needed. When I first got my Alpha they were adjusted to 24 via the previous owner.

Yup! Thanks guys. Got it dialed in at 23.5" (seems the general consensus is 23.25/50") on both sides and did an oil change on her then did a few runs around the neighborhood and high-way to settle the suspension and take a hot reading on my dipstick after changing the oil. Seems all good so far and I haven't really noticed the suspension being noticeably more rough like some have mentioned (maybe cause I've got an Alpha?)...

Will take another measurement tomorrow but all good so far!

When I cranked mine my only problem is that it wasn't as smooth and jerked when I hit bumps you may not may not feel the same thing it seems everyone's results are a little different. Did you get a before and after pic?

Have a "before" but it was too dark after finishing the oil change. Seems like all my projects never start early enough and only get done after dark. lol. I'll post one up tomorrow. Dropped my "nerf" bar side-steps too as a) don't need a step and b) plan on getting a pair of sliders (once somebody buys the ones I got from FRU)... WOW what a difference in look that made. Of course now I just stare at her and think "man, I really need to put 35's on now...".

Why must it be 60 degrees and sunny and as soon as I go to plastidip my truck it instantly turns dark outside and start to rain?

Thank god I cleaned out the garage lol.

Cause I ran out of time lol. And because I'm pretty sure I'm going to put some 35"s on in a week or so and would just end up redoing it after... Although, on the other hand my flight tomorrow from DC to San Fran was just cancelled and I've got 1 full can left. :) how many cans did it take to do your wheels?

I think it took me about two but then again i did wheels and emblems. It was also my first go with plastidip so i was spraying a lot of coats touching up things. I would try and get another can and you should be able to do it with one or two. Mine look great though not to brag lol.
