Stock Wheel Load Rating

Does anyone know what the load rating is on the stock wheels? I was tickling the idea of getting a new set of rims versus getting the stock 16" sandblasted and powder coated. However, all of the good looking after market wheels I've found are rated at 2200 lbs. I tend to pack heavy on my excursions and have definitely spent time on only 2 wheels with a good portion of the weight on just one. I'd prefer to avoid breaking a wheel if possible, so now I'm curious how much pain I've put the stock wheels through and if I should continue on them...

Also, has anyone wheeled with a wheel that's only rated at 2200 lbs and experienced any issues?

8800lb's GVW isn't enough for you? What the heck are you packing? The H3 is rated at a max GVWR of 6,001 lbs. If you're 2799 pounds over that then you've packed a whole other small car on.
I doubt the stock wheels are technically rated to handle 3,000lbs (2 wheels on the ground with a full weight rig). They're probably around 2200lbs each. That's going to be the working load limit though, the yield limit should be a fair bit higher than that, probably around 2x though I'm not sure what kind of safety factor they use on wheels, but it likely is a fair bit. I don't think I have seen anyone break a wheel due to the sheer weight of the vehicle, just from doing stupid stuff like ramming into a curb.

I think as long as the wheels are rated 2200lbs, have a warranty, and aren't spindly little spokes you'll be fine.

You’re not likely to damage a factory wheel before breaking something else. And if you do, you can get a replacement of FB or CL for next to nothing.

EDIT: I read too quickly and didn’t process you were talking about aftermarket. Still, I would say your likely to break something else before a wheel.
