Steelcraft Brush Guard Winch Combo Light Mounting

Leaning towards the steel craft winch mount brush guard combo but I'm at an end regarding mounting lights.

I've checked out all the picture threads and I see some who've mounted two lights in the center section directly above the

winch, and some who have no center cross bar above the winch allowing for the winch solenoid to clear.

The website description shows no cross bar, but states its pre drilled for lights. Where is it drilled?

Id like to mount two lights above the winch, on the bar closest to the winch, yet below the bar at hood level.

Anybody who who owns one able to clear this up?

Id appreciate the help, I just don't want to pay $100+ to ship one without knowing where lights mount.

Sorry. Little far away for me. So your saying it didn't include provisions to mount lights in the center?

I got mine off of Amazon and the shipping was free. It looks just like the steelcraft. It was under $400 total. And it doesn't have the center bar. I don't know where the holes are supposed to be drilled, mine doesn't have any. I wondered the same thing.

I was eyeballing that one. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I'm starting to assume people are just running the regular brush guard and adding a separate winch plate after the fact.

Mine came with two mounting holes.

So yours is the winch mount/brush guard combo, or just the brush guard? I haven't seen any of the winch mount/ brush guard combos online that show the center bar, yet they say you can mount lights.

Yeah the majority of brush guards this style but have the winch mount do not come with the center bar so technically theyre isn't a spot to mount lights on it from the factory. Mines a bg like derians i hv the center bar and the holes no winch mount so thats why.

Does steel craft have a website? Manufactures usually include mounting and installation instructions on their site! A second option, maybe you can just add separate light mounts to the top of the bumper (the o ring style ones!)

They do, but it's lacking information wise.

http://www.steelcraftautomotive.com/winch_mount_systems.html

Instructions are available by clicking the part number.

I was was just hoping that somebody owned one, and could speak to light mounting solutions as all the site states is predrilled with no indication as to where. The non winch mount version has a center cross bar like in the photo above, light mounting is pretty straight forward there.

Perhaps I'll just contact them next week. Could be a misprint for all I know. I was just hoping to have two center external lights on each side of the winch.

After speaking with Steelcraft this week, they have confirmed there was an error in the item description. There are no predrilled holes on the winch mount grille guard for accessory lights.
