Okay guys, soo after finding someone to do the external cooler, i decided to reach out and see if i could find someone to do a pcm tune as well. (update on the cooler thread will come soon) anyways, im really good friends with the owner of a local corvette tuning shop , He has done all the modifications to the C6 computer tuning, engine work, etc. He works on all GM cars but specializes in corvettes. So the other day i popped in to say hi, and asked him if he wanted to take a crack at tuning the hummer, i told him about the i-5 and he was appalled that GM would put something like that in a hummer. Soo long story short we ended up talking for a couple hours and he reached out to some connections and got the software to get into the pcm and tune it. We have no real numbers yet but hes expecting to get about 40 extra ponys under the hood and change the shift points and transmission firmness! If all goes well he said he would start doing hummers, so if anyone is interested let me know!
*DISCLAIMER* i do not mean to step on and PCM OF NC's toes. This option would only be for people in socal, and people that dont want to remove the PCM and ship it off or have to get a loaner one etc. IF for any reason mods feel like this post needs to be removed, feel free to do so.
