But I did take all the salvageable parts before he passed on... rubber floor mats (mine were cloth), catback exhaust, a *working* 4:1 tcase... (pics will come!)... everything but the engine. :)

From another post:

I've been going through steering racks like crazy, last two times I've been out for 4 hours combined... I'm buying a rubicon tomorrow, getting a TJ, no steering rack on a dana 44.:giggle:

LOVE the 3, if I could have gotten away from the issues, it would have been awesome. This one also had electrical problems, locked me out of the rear door for 2 months straight once,

then again last week, power window on the driver door worked when it wanted, and I DESPISE the fact that you can't get rid of the auto locks on this thing, I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION.

(and the power is really bad at my altitude)

I'm bummed to become another one of the HEEP people, but I somehow got one that was a turd, and it just needs to go.

Tis a sad day indeed. But when the Hummers are gone whats left? Not much of a choice really for those that like to do the kind of wheeling that we do...

Can someone fill me in so I don't assume a Man just passed away leaving a wife and an Infant behind.

Thanks, Bebe

My bad.... poor humor. Only his h3 has passed on, hence the h3 forum. We wont miss him out there, only in here. :moe: Far less appropriate when you're sober I suppose!

Here's his neutered hummer (poor thing):

And some other crazy things he does:

Sad day, hopefully you still decide to wheel with us

Well, I tell you what, I've seen pics of the disaster that is "Heep week"... and I'm sticking to black sheep week!!! Y'all might not have the spare parts I need anymore, but I'll still take you guys over that crew any day!!!

I actually took the back seat out of an unlimited today & laid down in it... I can ALMOST see it happening, but not with both of us & the little guy!!!

Actually, didn't finish the deal yesterday, and today got a lead on an 08 4 door. 80k, arb bumper with warn 9k & synthetic line, on 33's 4" lift, 6 speed. Tomorrow I'm going to stretch & see if I can do the 08 instead. More space, more wheelbase, better for vertical stuff we've got around here... should do the trick for us.

If not, I'll bring the 06 home tomorrow evening.

Oh and btw...
