Recently I retrofitted projectors into my headlights and fog lights. So far it's been about 5 days and i'm still not finished, it is a huge trial and error going into this blindly, but I hope to help others who want to try this later on.
1.) remove headlights and fog lights
2.) open the headlight assembly using either a dremel, or baking them in the oven. I recommend buying an extra headlight assembly so you can drive with your factory ones. For me using a Dremel was the easiest method.
3.) shave down the O ring on the back of your headlight assembly where the bulb goes in. You want it to barely stick up from the headlight. On the fog lights you basically have to cut them in half, you want the projector shroud to barely be bigger than the hole .
4.) drill holes for various wires whether it be halos, demon eyes, ect... You need a hole for the solenoid which allows you to retain Hi/Lo function.
5.) Once you get done cutting and drilling, you can prime and paint your headlight assembly, your foglights, and your shrouds. I used engine enamel primer and paint followed by a satin clear.
6.) Once your pain has dried and is stable enough to work with, you want to screw the shround onto the projector, then place your projector through headlight, put the rubber washer on the projector from the back of the headlight assembly, then the lock ring, then the lock nut, try to tighten the lock nut until the projector can be twisted, but not easily.
7.) Screw your shroud to the projector, then place the projector through the foglight assembly but first. It should be resting on the shroud.(BEFORE THIS NEXT STEP, MAKE SURE YOU LINE UP THE PROJECTOR WITH THE TWO MOUNTING POINTS ON THE SIDE OF THE FOGLIGHT) if you don't you'll have to cut them off and plastic weld it to the mount like i'll have to do.. next using JB weld cover every open area between the shroud and the fog light. Basically anywhere water could get through besides the bulb hole. Let it sit until the JB weld sets.
8.) put your headlights and your foglights back onto the car and bolt them back in. Put in your bulbs and test the beam pattern, once it's how you like mark where the projector should be then tighten it so it can't be moved.
9.) apply butyl rubber or silicone to the headlights and foglights, and reattach the lens to them. Then let them sit until they have set.
10.) bolt everything back up and enjoy.
Parts:
-dremel
-drill
-4 Mini H1 projectors
-2 H1 Hid kits
-Engine enamel primer and paint
-Clear Coat
-Sealant (silicone or butyl rubber)
-Soldering iron if doing halos/oracles
-extra wire
-isopropyl alcohol
-clean rags
-solder
-Socket wrench w/10mm socket
-JB weld
-H13 Hi/Lo relay
-H10 Relay
