power window and door locks quit working .

hi everyone, well I have tried everything, check the fuses, new battery, took cables off then put them back on, clean master switch and put it back on , I got nothing . I have ordered a new master switch, I hope that solves my problem . the truck is a 2006 h3 . thanks .

Hope that's the issue. Did you try the locks or windows on the other doors other than the driver's controls?

If that doesn't work, have someone with a tech II check the BCM for fault codes. Could be something wrong with the BCM if everything else is working fine. Have you checked the wiring that plugs into the switch to make sure power is running to it?

the other windows work fine, I am waiting for the new switch to come in, if that does not work I will take it to the shop and let them figure it out . thanks .

Open the door, look at the area where the hinges are located. There is a large socketed connector that has a locking lever to secure the two halves of the connector plugs. If the lever is not fully engaged, the connection will be "broken". It may appear to be fully engaged, but that can be deceiving. This connector supplies power and commands to the door switches. Flip the lever up, re-seat the connector plugs, and then push the lever lock FULLY down, it will be harder than you think. See if power windows and locks are working.

I had this problem in both front doors. I tracked the connector via the shop manual schematics. HTH.
