Pic of H3T I'm considering...comments?

Its a 2010 Alpha with under 25K mi, but I'm not sure how the carbon fiber flares, side panels and folding step affect value; personally I'm not so keen on 'em.
Is it hard to find buyers for bling?
I'd appreciate any comments.

It's there now! Thanks. Nice looking rig. How much are they asking for it? I don't know about selling the folding steps. Hans3T had a set on his T and if I recall, he was able to sell his. My T came with the gray steps. I removed them to put the rock sliders on & they still are sitting in my garage...was never able to sell them to anyone.

I sent the owner of the one here in Tucson an email to see if it's still for sale.. it had 34.5k miles on it and he was asking $35k.

Does anyone recognize those carbon fiber flares? Are the original fenders underneath them or do they replace the OEM flares. (I haven't seem the truck in person yet; its 100+ miles away).

If that's a carbon fiber finish on the flares my guess would be that it's a vinyl wrap

Not sure what the flares are worth but most add on accessories don't really increase the value of the vehicle. Price it like you would a clean OEM T and see how it goes.

I never thought of vinyl wrap. I hope so; don't like it...or black strip above the sill. Probably going to go see it today.

I do not like the carbon fiber on the fenders, the black panel thing along the bottom of the doors, or the hood handles, all of which should be easy to remove (or keep if it looks good in person). As for the powered step, I guess that's a matter of what you plan to use the truck for. Personally, I'd be tossing whatever step/nerf is on there and replacing with sliders anyway, but I can see how the power step may appeal to some.

Now for the pluses - it's a low mileage H3T Alpha! My only dislikes are simple to remove and very minor bling. If something like that came up locally, had the offroad package, and I could get it for a decent price I'd be all over it. I don't regret buying an I5 H3t lux/adventure, but if I could do it over I'd go with an Alpha/offroad. Every once in a while I do a search to see what's out there, and H3T Alphas are hard to find. Getting one with the offroad package under 100 miles of me appears to not be possible.

Basically, unless it has a missing feature you really want like lockers or a sun roof or whatever your wants are, and you can get a deal you are ok with, buy it! Those are hard to find, plain and simple.

I asked the seller for more pics. The CF is vinyl skin so it should come off easy. But the flashy grill is a major turn off. Also has one of those useless tail gate flip baskets that just take up a lot of space. My interest is cooling fast. Too much de-blinging needed. Oh well.

I'm still considering it. The grill is a big deal; looks like minimum of $500 - $700 to change it out for a respectable one, then there are the chrome mirrors and wheels; though I can probably find buyers for those. As 06H3 says...its unlikely its ever been in the dirt. The center diff lock has probably never been engaged.
