Ran across an add for these guys in a recent 4x4 magazine.

http://www.phantomtrailhawk.com/

Stuff looks nice, Americna made, defense industry background, attractive pricing.

Just curious if anyone has experience with thier products.

They have one H3 in thier gallery but I do not recognize the truck.

Product example:

Sounds like Phantom products out of Fl that sells LE lights. Their small blue/red LED assemblies are use on our Ranger trucks and ATVs in the district. Haven't heard anything bad.

We're based in Florida. We have probably put more of our lights on HMMWVs than anything else! Currently, I'm hitting local shows as we grow into commercial sales. If you're Military, you've likely used our lights, maybe even our flashlight, the Phantom Warrior TLS. If you're west of the Mississippi, shoot me an email or PM with how you use your Hummer, pics, etc. I'll see if I can't hook someone up with a set. BUT... you have to post pics of your install and final result. If you don't like them, send them back and I'll pass them on for someone else to use (but you'll like them...). This shot was taken in our garage during the install.

Both the company bio/background and the price points on their products are what caught my eye.

Hoping he/they can post up some comparative data between thier stuff and the other stuff on the market.

If you three want lights, as a sort of mini-group buy, I'll hook you up with a discount.

We are new to 4x4 lighting, but not to vehicle lights. We have a Military side, www.phantomlights.com, and a LE side, www.ledlights.com. I've been here three years and always wanted to put our lights on my Jeep. The owners (we're a small family-owned business) finally agreed to give me a little rope to try this out. There aren't too many wheeled military vehicles that DON'T have our lights. Many aircraft and ocean-going vessels as well. Brightness is a tough question to qualify AND quantify. We all use LEDs from the same core suppliers, we use Cree and a couple of others, NOTHING from China. The lenses and voltage regulation are more critical to output. We measure other similarly worthwhile products output, and we compare favorably. We don't compare ourselves to the Chinese crap, sorry. Our lenses are patented or patent-pending, we design and mold them in-house. Any component we don't make (not many) is USA sourced first, and we often pay more for them to be US products. You're also welcomed here any time, we're not fancy, but friendly and proud of our history, and our products.

Damn ! !

This thread took off once the term "Group Buy" was floated out there.

I need to do some measuring and figuring to see what I may need and where.

Seems like this thread sputtered out as quick as it took off...

Has anybody actually contacted trailhawk about a group buy?

I talked to sinster today about these lights. He has a contact at phantomtrailhawk. As Ron said, that's sinster's H3 in the pics with trhese lights. I'm sure between sinster and having SRHEdD here as a member, we could put-together a group buy.

I really like the 40" (8 pod) version of these lights. Very clean, efficient design, appear to be very well-made & are very bright. I like them ALOT!

I also like the way they look on the Gobi Stealth. Hmmm.......
