Then bump stops were installed

I really needed new bump stops, the driver side one had sure seen some better days.

Then it was time to get the hubs out of the stock knuckles and installed them into the rancho knuckles, as you can see this turned out to be quite the task since they were corroded weld
3214a6e789c494a307f7aa67d21b860a.jpg

We had to use a hydraulic press. To pop them out.

Once we got the hubs out of the old knuckles and installed them into the new ones.

It was time to reassemble the new rancho knuckles

Corey set them all in and just tight them a bit...to make sure they all fit perfectly and then marshal was responsible for tighten up and torque them, as well he set in the brake disks and break calipers.

Once both sides were done, Corey went ahead and check one last time all the bolts to make sure everything was tight and torque.

Then Corey and Marshall proceed to installed the new Alpha Torsion Bars I Brought with me and the rancho crossmember support bars.

But apparently they installed the cross member support bars wrong. Meaning the bolt one end of the support bars under the cross member instead of on top
WRONG WAY

Finally once everything was set and ready to go. We went ahead and set the skid plates. And it was here when I finally caught their attention and tell them about the steering rack bolt that if the steering rack need to be replace basically the whole front differentials need to be unbolted. And they say that they would look in a way to fix this.

While we work in the front someone else was working the rear... And see everything was done and ready at the same time.
The rear

And the front wheels on the ground once again.

And that concludes the install...there were some minor things not too important or just plain too commonsense so I didn't even bother to cover them. Such as torque specks or rear leaf spring install. Since both are easy and the torque specs are in the installation manual.

After driving back I stop in a spot on my way to school. And decided to take some poser flex pics.
My TOUGHTS already are...those front bum stops got go. They limit front travel like a MotherFlower.

Up travel limited by damn bump stop.

No more rubbing when at full flex in the rear.

I need to do something about the rear abs sensor or they might snap.

Its not the front bumps as much as it is the shocks and the sway bar

Them too. I was surprise of the rancho shocks...I'm sure 7100 would fix that XP I already sort of have and idea of how to approach this... But all this will have to be after few. That's when they get done with their testing as well that's when I'm back from my training. SOA and 7100 as soon as the im back hopefully a rear OX locker too.

Well just picked PANZER up from rancho shop...and they installed one of the 2 possible future springs that will take care of the rear sagging problem.
Anyways here they are.

Hey panzer.... Unclip those abs wires from the clips in the rear feder wells... Pull the rubber stopper thing toward the wheel and close the clip. That'll give you a few extra inches.

Those Canadian springs look like they are mad by Standens, they are local to me and are where I picked up parts for my Expo Trailer build!
Keep us posted!

ps. I looks like I also have my crossmember brace in wrong too (they are currently sitting in there the way your first pic shows)

Yeah they suppose to be tuck in and on the member rather than riding under...they notice something was wrong when they try to put the little sheet of metal that "supposedly" protects the T-Case.

It's funny because I have been under the truck looking at that thinking it would be a better spot for clearance issue... But the kit was installed when I got it and I never looked to see if it was done as per the instructions... One more thing for the to do list I guess!

Yupe, that's what they said that like that it would interfere with clearance lol...and it should be a really easy fix. Unbolt and bolt again. Nothing hard at all.

Well the rancho guys are back at it again.
19d7e0c12dbf93cba1b43c69cea20c84.jpg

New American made 2 stage springs...my question is ??? How many rancho folks does it take to install one leaf spring lol...3.
a37c064ba2f10297a9111cf1a86ba296.jpg

One side done . One more to go.
37e3b0f876b5f9b4f816703541de8d7e.jpg

Finally both springs installed...the guys were worried that the leaf springs wouldn't clear the hunner skid...but I'd did.
d8affb56d4c5cbdfb77e9d0d6bbf7271.jpg

Prototypes...let's hope this fvckets don't fall apart on me.

.
Back on the ground.
bf588a893d21e17442019777fef6e12a.jpg

I know it seems like this springs are sagging...already but they are not...they are 3/4 longer than the regular one rancho use..therefore the shackle goes about 1 degree back...but since they are 2 stage they are stranger than the regular rancho leaf or the Canadian "supposedly" we should see...due to the weight of the H3 the spring go to their 2nd stage which is the last leaf. But not sagging is done the height remain as it would with the Canadians.
Here are the size tables first one is with the Canadian springs and the second one with the new springs.
