New to the H3T - but not new to Hummers...

Long time Hummer H1 owner - in fact I'm on Hummer #6 with Silvrzuki's H3T Alpha/Adventure that I just bought. Picked it up last month and after a cursory inspection drove it 2800 miles in a little over two days back to Pennsylvania! Silvrzuki's set his (mine now ) H3T the way I would have done it - so hats off to him for the support and patience with all my questions... My first mod was to add a radio antenna lost during his installation of the air snorkel. :)

I'll be wheeling the H3T for the first time in May at Black Mountain with THCI. Looking forward to learning how the "little" Hummer does offroad. Certainly it's a change from the H1's! I think it's my new daily driver...

I currently own a 2000 Wagon, a 2000 Slantback, a M1043 HMMWV, and a M1113 ECV HMMWV, plus now the H3T. Not much I don't know of haven't done with the H1. The H3 is all-new to me. My next job is to replace the front diff support bushing that failed on my way East. Doing lots of reading and learning.

Welcome and congrats on the new to you T. I know the original owner of that rig and the rig itself very well and the original owner and Silverzuki took very good care of it

Welcome and I think you will be pleased with how the T does offroad. Ts just walk up Escalator on Hell's Revenge. The wheel base helps them quite a bit in many situations but hurts them in a few. ( ledges ) Regret selling my 2000 slantback but you only have so much room for toys.

Thanks David! Not sure if I'm taking the T or the h1 to Moab this year - I'll know more after i get to wheel it at Black Mountain in May.

I've had lots of fun in 16 years of Hummer ownership! Looking forward to starting a new chapter with the 'T. Not getting rid of the Slantback or the HMMWV's, but I might just well the wagon if the 'T turns out to be everything I hope. It's certainly quieter and nicer on the inside the my H1 wagon... I have lots to learn about wheeling something with a solid axle and all that stuff hanging down I don't have in the 1...

Hey Clarke. I think the build for my T is most up to date on my site here or threads here.

Clarke is a really knowledgeable guy on H1 and HMMWV as well
