H3 Need help, H3 suspension upgrade...

Hello guys, I want to upgrade the suspension on my Hummer (lift & shocks)... I have seen a few photos online of fox reservoir shocks but can’t find the link on where to order them, I had seen a post on H4O about some bilstein shocks with reservoir too but can’t find the post again... I woul like to run maybe a 3” torsión bar on the front and 2.5” on the back, will those shocks have enough length for the lift??
Would realy like to know what set ups y’all running... thanks

Before you even consider shocks, let's talk about how you're planning on lifting that front end. If you're just going to crank the torsion bars to get 3" of lift, you're going to destroy that front end steering and suspension. It won't last. The CVs, steering rack and likely ball joints will be working at extreme angles and will fail prematurely.

If you want a lift, not many options out there. As far as I know, there's ONE uninstalled Rancho lift in the US and that's certainly not for sale. Most owners going for a lift beyond about 1.25" are doing solid axle swaps. 1.25" (or thereabouts) is about all that you can safely do with a torsion bar crank.

Daystar may still make a 1” body lift for H3. I have had mine for 8 years with no problems.
Just need to retorq body bolts occasionally.

Hello Alrock, this is exactly why I joined the group to learn before buying... I know rancho mande a lift but it’s pretty impossible to find some on sale & I read a lot of bad reviews about the shocks that it came with... i know eBay lifts & parts are always not the best way to go, but I found this set up and thought about giving it a try...
