Finally got a chance to work on the h3. Same schit different day... decided to pull the starter and have it tested or at least that was my plan....... pulled drivers wheel and inner fender well. After moving a few wires and sensors, made enough access to remove the starter bolts. Once the bolts were removed I spent the next 4 hours trying to remove the starter with no luck. Finally decided to say forget this and spent the next 2 hours trying to re install, like I said try..., glad I have a buddy with a rollback.... it's sitting at the dealership....... I figured an arson charge would look bad on my resume lol.

Well got it back today. They said that the starter was bad after bench testing. They also tried to go thru the wheel well since I already had the inner fender off and could not remove it either. Tech said that this is one of the few times that the gm bible is dead on. Had to take the intake off to remove it. Even though I got buttraped on the price I'm glad to have my baby back!!

Yeah and I would have never believed it if I wouldn't have spent hours underneath it myself trying to pull it out.
