Recently I sold my 01 Mustang GT with the intentions of getting a newer Mustang. What I really wanted was a screaming yellow Mach 1 but after looking for a few months I wasn't able to find one with low miles for a decent price. I couldn't justify spending $15k+ on a 10 year old Mach 1. I then started looking into getting a new Mustang as they seemed to be the best bang for the buck, more horse power then a 03/04 terminator Cobra for about the same price! Not to mention 10 years newer, lot less miles, and warranty. I was about to pull the trigger on a new 5.0 Mustang but came across a 05 Hummer H2 with 70k miles at a local dodge dealer with Luxury package and pretty much fully loaded with every option but Nav (just like my H3X). I had been watching it for sometime but being yellow it sat on the lot for quite sometime. After about 3 months on the lot, I decided I would submit a low ball offer for kicks. Well, they came back with a price within $200 of my offer! They started at $25k and after 3 months of sitting on the lot they had it down to $22,716 and ended up putting a deposit down last Saturday. Decided to hold off on a 13/14 GT for a while and let someone else get hit with the depreciation of buying a new car and purchased the H2 last Monday. I will still be getting a 13/14 GT Premium in a few years but couldn't pass the deal up! Ended up paying $20,257 OTD, a good $5-7k bellow NADA and KBB. The manager that had to approve the price, wasn't sure why he offered that price as he shouldn't have been able to because the price was already lowered. I picked it up last Wednesday


Here it is, 2005 Yellow Hummer H2 with Luxury Package, 75k miles, perfect CarFax, clean inside and out. Well maintained and in great shape with warranty. Perfect clean slate, exactly like my H3X when I got it....fully loaded, lots of chrome to sell, and color matched grille.

Picked up something the other night, going to use it until I get a rack and then swap the lights over to that

Painted the license plate holder emblem

Blacked out emblems and hood latches

Chrome nerfs, gone!

Getting there, next step is to have the mirrors Line X'ed and swap handles. Only chrome left will be the wheels which will get replaced with Methods to match my H3
