Last minute: 2N17X or Last Chance Canyon?

All,

Assuming I get my truck back today I will want to take it out on a pre Moab shakedown run tomorrow. I was thinking 2N17X or Last Chance Canyon.

Anyone interested?

Was going to say that I'd prefer LCC as well. It's been forever since I was out that way.

...still need to get the truck back from the shop first though :)

I was planning on going up to Big Bear tomorrow since there is some snow. But LCC sounds like fun

You are welcome to ride with Heather and I, but you may want to take Craig up on his offer, his H3 will likely be *much* more comfy for the 3 hour ride to and from the trail, than the cramped back seats in the H1.

You guys are of course also welcome to ride with us to whatever meeting point we might chose and then ride with whomever you want from there.

So... Craig & Arthur, did you work out ride-along stuff?

Zach, do you want to convoy or just meet at the trailhead? Keep in mind my green beast won't be going very fast on the way to and from the trail....

Meeting up works for me. Besides, my truck gets better gas mileage when you set the pace:wink:

Sounds like fun.

My trucks in the shop though, new valve covers and to get a windshield replaced so I probably won't get it back until next week.

There was plenty of snow up in in the mountains last weekend, I went snow boarding up in Mountain High and there was a foot that fell overnight...

Ski report is showing more snow Sat/Sunday...

Looks like we are all set. I need to swing by the store tonight and get some lunch supplies. I have water and ice. The truck is pretty much ready, just have to throw in my supply box and tools.

This is gonna be a fun day!

Truck has been ready, now it's time to make sure everything is fixed. Fingers crossed. Should be a good warm up Moab.

I am up and about. Getting the last few things ready (ice chest and food).

I am still like a little kid. Could not get much sleep last night from thinking about this run. LCC is one of my favorite runs.

you guys have fun and keep the at least 3 tires on the ground at all times. Well maybe 2 for short periods. I'm jealous. Looks like I'll be working Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
