Do the 6lug 17" Chevy steelies fit the H3? Same hub size?

I've seen them at flea markets for $150-$200 a set.

Chevy steelies do NOT fit, due to the large hubs on the H3. You can machine the center bores so they fit but, it's not ideal. Instead get some steelies off a Toyota -FJ Cruiser. Very cheap and common. Plus they are 17".

What he said. Do not bother with the Chevy wheels. They use a larger wheel stud and H3 lug nuts nearly fall through the holes. I'm also in a search for steelies. I'm up to 2 H3T steel rims. I keep looking for FJ wheels myself.
