Kick back with the criticism and do the math. Cost of all mods to install 5.3 vs cost to hot rod a 3.7. So a stroker crank maybe non-existent but did you look for one? Listen, I was throwing every possible hot rod option out there as an option to offer some help.

Have you stroked a motor before? Please show us the kits.

If you have no CEL's and it runs smooth it's fine.

It's a heavy SUV, and you're gonna get smoked by a lot of cars/trucks. But when it comes to the rough stuff, they'll be stuck on the street... My Alpha with the Efan was smooth off the line, but it came at a price of poor cooling in the severe TX summer months. I would much rather have a cooler running engine vs a 2 second faster 0-60 time.

It ran really smooth today and seemed more peppy. I guess I just had to let it cool down and give the oil and fuel a day to work.

I've got a 2 hour, 57 minute quarter mile time slip to prove this exact theory with my deuce, and that was running the slicks......
Thats faster than my 06 H3, and I had an H2 drive infront of me so I'd have less air resistance!
