I had to choose between my deuce and......

the 2012 KTM I just picked up.

Of course the KTM won just because I had it in pieces while working on getting a license plate mounted to it, in addition to making the brake light work.

This stupid Navy RV lodging will only let me have one vehicle at my site so I have a HUGE gap in front of the trailer where the deuce is supposed to be but instead it is parked up the road a short stretch in the parking lot.

I've got the KTM on the concrete pad right next to the trailer door under the awning and took it apart to put the lights back in order. I feel like I'm being punished for a crime I didn't commit, in addition to commiting a crime against the deuce by leaving it on it's own. My option is to put the cycle hauler on the back of the truck and hauling the bike around and pulling it off every time I want to ride, but if you've ever loaded a bike on a receiver carrier on a deuce you'll understand that complication. I can also put the receiver on the back of the trailer and load the bike up there, but still a PITA.

RANT OVER. Thank you for listening

If you have to go with using a carrier , I would look in to the Ultimate MX Hauler . I use one on the back of my H3 when I don't take the trailer. It's easy to use and store in small places . The nice thing is it raises and lowers by using a built in bottle jack .

Dang, decisions decisions. Keep in mind you could always send up a drone to find the deuce and with all that chrome its mirror in the sun like reflection should be easy to spot. Jeeps of the dirt bike world lolol.

On a serious note that does suck, hope you can come up with a slick less pita way of dealing with this.

Twim,
Simple solution: park the bike in your living room and use the seat for a drink holder and the handlebars as a coat/clothes rack. Am I missing something here?

I actually decided to do a secondary security measure for my H2, besides the aftermarket alarm, the ignition switch is altered that you still need the key in switch, to keep the truck on after turning it with the alarm, but turning the switch all the way does not turn the engine over, it only turns on the electrical components, and in a separate spot, I have a remote "push to start" switch. That will crank the engine on.

I really thought long and hard about doing this, but I'd need to take the bike apart into much smaller pieces to get it in the trailer.

Then, if you read my post on favorite movie quotes about the Dukes of Hazzard and having sex with the General Lee, well, it just gets weird---because I named the bike Chuck Norris, and everybody knows nobody survives sex with Chuck Norris.......

My dad drag raced in the early 60s in southern cali - and he told me this brilliant trick to get an assembled hemi in and out of a motel.... cut the door frame.
