HUMMER Halloween in my neighborhood

I got a last minute idea to dig out my box of McDonalds HUMMER's and have my daughter hand some out at the door when the kids came up. The only requirement was that they had to say "HUMMER's rule" before dropping one in their bucket. I also figured since I'd be out walking my other two daughters I'd put some of the HUMMER's in a bag and hand them out randomly as we went house to house. I got to hand one to a little dinosaur giving out candy at the door of one house, needless to say, he was really happy. But the most memorable moment of the night was the young guy that I asked if he liked HUMMER trucks and he said "what's a HUMMER?" I explained that if he said "HUMMER's rule", he could have the orange one I was holding, then I showed him the truck. As soon as he saw what it was, he got really excited, his eyes got big and he said "HUMMER's Rule!" and took the truck. I had more fun last night than on any other Halloween in my memory.
If I was able to plant the HUMMER dream in at least one little guy's head last night then it was all worth it.

You were very generous. I allow my grandaughter to play with the set of those I have but I know where they are all the time. ha ha
She of course likes the Humvee with a winch. Good genes!

Maybe in about 13-20 years one of these little guys will be on "Antique4x4HUMMEROffroad" forum saying how they got interested in HUMMER's as a kid! They'll be looking for the best ways to restore a "classic 06 H2", spouting numbers about how limited the limited edition is and how only a few are left in the world.

I had one of those Happy Meal Hummers. The steering was weak and required constant mods and attention to keep it tracking straight. The gears on mine eventually stripped out which is when I parked it. A very accurate replica of the original! :)
