I've been looking at the Baja Rack for the H3 and was wondering if anyone's had any experience with them. There's not a whole lot of reviews out there so any feedback would be great. Also post pictures if you have them.

I'vê seen them, but I want the Baja FLAT rack with H3 mounts. I would drive down to DFW to pick it up in person.

There's an H3 being sold locally with a Baja Rack. I messaged the guy to see if he's willing to sell the rack only.

I would also ask the guys at Tepui Tents in Santa Cruz. They sell both BajaRack and Gobi Racks. I am sure they can tell you the pluses and minuses of both

Right off the bat, gobi is heavier as its steel not aluminum like the Baja rack. I personally like the aesthetics of the gobi over the Baja, but to each their own.

Actually the Baja is Steel also, just the fairing is aluminum. Supposedly has a load rating of 300lbs also. To me the Gobi definitely looks better and I really like the removable sunroof piece. But at half the price I might settle for the Baja.

Aluminum or steel, doesn't matter if it bent under 150 lbs! I understand the idea of static and dynamic load ratings as well as ratings per sq. inch or foot or whatever size, however, if it bent under 150 lbs of kid then it's not rugged enough.

I have a baja rack made for a Toyota Land Cruiser with mounts weld so it fits my truck and I've stood on top of mine with a bunch of fire wood up there and I weigh 230lbs
