Pics and reality is a little different. Right now I am dealing with smog test. Truck is a straight pipe, no cats, no evap system. So I have to do a complete custom exhaust. CARB headers (couple of manifold studs are broken), high flow cats, stainless steel piping. The biggest issue is on OEM truck exhaust is running on passenger side, after drivetrain mods it on driver side. I keep wondering how they passed smog inspections in the past.

After smog I'll deal with body panels and fittings.

So did some maintenance on the truck.
Compression:

FRONT
150 195
150 168
165 165
172 165

I guess not bad for 258,+ on the motor.

if you want the hook up on smog i know a guy. :shifty:

Exhaust will be done Thursday/friday, will see afterwards. Some of "red flags" will go away, but I may need to deal with EVAP system. And I asked to move exhaust to pass side, driver has fuel pump right next to muffler.

And JBL headers are here(CARB legal)!!!

So while transmission(slipping 3-4 shift) and TC(gaskets are leaking) is out getting sealed and rebuild, I decided to fix axels(front seals were leaking). Also putting ARB air lockers in. Stuff that is in existing axles is a POS Indian crap and Detroit lockers which after driving i don't like at all. So getting all new seals, u-joints, ARB lockers.

Well it looks like my time to own this awsome truck is coming to the end. If deal goes through I will be giving it to its "new" owner by end of next week.
