Okay guys, I cannot for the life of me decide what kind of LED bar setup I want on my H3. I've done my terrible photoshopping through paint to get an idea. Strictly going on cosmetics, price and light output difference is negligible. What do you guys think looks best?

Thanks,
Spencer

I vote exactly the same. The other ones seem like poser cop-ish. $.02 btw I like the brush guard!

The last one , If you wanted to you could add 2 small floods too ( 1 at each end ) . The flood would help with closer and much wider side to side lighting .

That's it the new Mad Max PD vehicles . You could PIT a semi with that very cool brush guard . After seeing that front end , the only thing that comes to mind is " ramming speed " . Oh don't forget about a bar in the lower grill opening too .

Will you be going with rigid bars? If you are, i would go with the 4 light set up, get two Hyperspot bars for the inner two bars, then some wide floods for the outer two. Thats what i'm planning on doing and getting rid of my 42inch bar.

with the hyperspots you will get a way better throw of light imo.

Funtion = Looks IMO.

However being an LED bar mounted on the roof, I would focus more on a "spot" beam pattern. You would be better off, from a performance standpoint to lower them down around the grill.

So given the choice? I would choose number 1.

I would also recommend KC, Rigid is a good company too, then probably Vision X. Any other company is good for looks, and that is about it. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input guys, everything has been ordered. I will post up pictures of what I went with once it gets here and I get it mounted up. I'm going non-Rigid/Vision X for now. I want to make sure what I went with is what I want first so I went with cheaper CREE lights for now. I've got an old jeep at my farm, if this is what I want then I will be ordering Rigid and the cheaper CREEs will be going on the old farm jeep.

Kewl, looking forward to some pics, that brush guard is super sweet!

Thanks man, they are stupid expensive new ($3500). I lucked out on finding it used and picked it up for a fraction of the cost. Definitely gives it a mean look. It's my favorite cosmetic upgrade to the H3 so far

If you went with the first pic, the four lights. You could angle both the lights on the end out a little with the middle two facing forward and you could get a little more visibility and you only risk one light going out if it does instead of losing all light up top just my opinion

When you wire it up, just make sure you use good butt connectors, a little dielectric grease and lots of shrink wrap, and silicone or dum dum, so all the wiring is nicely sealed!
