I just realized that i am only 2 1/2 hours away from RC now. I would love to be able to make it up there, I'll find out this week if I'll be able to or not. I know I have to go to Missouri for 6 weeks on the following monday but my weekend should be free.

Yes, it's equidistant for me from campus (near Hagarstown, MD). It's a really easy breezy drive up I-81. Come up -- even if you have to leave after wheeling Saturday it is totally worth it. We could caravan if you wanted too...

Looks like a great group is shaping up for this event. Wish I could be there with you guys...someday soon!

You're always welcome -- I'd be happy to pick you up from any local-ish airport as well!

Looks like Rausch Creek is getting pounded this weekend. My weather says 6"-8" of wet, heavy, snow.

Maybe I won't be camping.

If it snows, I am not sure I want to wheel. I will still go and spot and take photos of the crew, but I'm not sure I have the confidence/skill to tackle wet, slick, snow.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it grass hopper (that's a kung fu reference for you young bucks). Besides, wheeling in the snow has got to be easier than planning a wedding

Snow wheeling is awesome. My concern is all of the downed tree-limbs blocking the trails....might want to bring a chainsaw. The weather guy said it was a very heavy, wet, snow. The snow should all be gone by the time we get there...but the debris might turn a fun Rausch Creek run, into a "trail maintainence" workout. BTW...I've never been there but, it looks heavily wooded.

There are very wooded areas as well as some very open areas -- just depends on where we go. The green trails that go around the property are a good mixture of each.

Do you know if you're attending yet?

Yes...I'll be there. I've got some bumpers to deliver...meeting a guy from Allentown and possibly another guy from Pottsville. Both of these guys have T's so I'll have at least (2) bumpers, and (2) gates with me. Hopefully, they'll come over to Trenton and do some off-roading with us. I'll be wheeling at the Badlands with Trailbreaker this weekend, and he has offered to be a parts mule if someone in the North Carolina area wants anything...I can send it back east with him.

I will also be attending (posted in other thread). Any consensus on trail difficulty? My preference would be up to difficult greens, but not sure about the preference/capability of the group. I could be the weakest link.

I would not worry about that -- I am in the same boat. I like to go out and have some fun, not bounce off of rocks and trees and whatnot. I love a nice easy trail ride and getting some good photos of the group.

Awesome -- I am glad you'll be coming along. I am curious to see the bumpers for the T...I still REALLY want one. Like I said before, I just can't swing the cash right now.

Hello everyone! I am glad to see some further interest developing for the run. Please make all further posts related to the upcoming run in the official RC Run thread. (You know, the only other thread in the Atlantic forum!)

Thank you all!
