Despite widely distributed rumors I have not...
- Traded in the H2 for a prius and an ATV...
- Been stuck under the flipped over truck on some trail in northern Minnesota...
- Suffered a sudden case of carpal tunnel preventing me from typing anything on the computer...
- Taken up with a long shot republican candidate's primary campaign…
- Been kidnapped by some east coast forum and threatened with a “keyed job” on the Stealth Grey paint job if I post anything here...

Actually, what am I saying??!! not a single one of you even noticed I have not been around this joint for the last 5 months. Feel like I have to re-introduce myself here on the fresh meat forum. HI - I am John from Wisconsin and I have an 2005 H2...

Why did I come out tonight? Well Easter is this weekend so I have to put up my annual "wish I was going to spring Moab" post. It has been 2+ years now since we made a pilgrimage to the off-road homeland. I am not sure what is more difficult, not going or realizing I am getting use to not going.

The true reason I have backed off posting since last fall was related to time and work. The turning point was when I had my IT person pulling up some stats on employees “excessive” web use. What do you know, H4o was near the top of the list. I had to put my money where my mouth was and I changed my home page and stopped the daily posting.

Nothing too major since October but here are a few updates:
-We had to put down Levi our 12 year old black lab. Here he is in his last days looking all stoic and wise.

-We took a month off and then found a new puppy. Meet Ginger “Ale” Bell born on 12/24/11. All yellow Lab and she has already been on her first off road trip and took right too it. We have just a couple more puppy items to train/break her of.

-Tweaked the onboard air project and started on the next project. I am finally installing my pop up 360 degree spot lights.

We have been out on the trails once so far this year.

Hope I have not missed too much.

Glad your back... Thats a cute lil fella you have there... Also, I think its commendable that you are setting a example at work with your web use... Its better to lead by example, and do as I also do, not just say.

Welcome back John. My heart felt condolences goes out to you and your family on the loss of your lab. I had to put my 13 yr old choc lab down last year and it was heart breaking, trying to ease her suffering in the last few days of her life.

Hey John, glad to see you are still around and kicking! The loss of a furry family member is always tough. Looks like your new addition is a happy little thing! PM coming soon about the DI trip.

PS: who makes those great lights?

John, glad to see you. And I'm worried too that H4O will be at the top of our company's usage list the next time they look - as I type this at work.

Lost our 14 year old yellow lab this year. He was a great friend it was a very difficult time. Always hard to lose one of your best friends. And yes I am typing this from work also. My IT guys have mentioned several times about time on the forum but I am the President so........:) I usually just log on in the AM and leave the screen minimized. I will check it several times during the day, usually while I am on some not to important phone call.
