Comes almost to a stop on the road

I have not had this happen before. I was going down the road and the traction control light came on and the truck just started slowing down to a dead stop. Like i was hitting the brakes.It still runs ok doesn't die.

Did it operate normally after that stop? Did you still have traction control lights or any other lights on?

Traction control is often selective application of the brakes by the computers to one or more wheels. So if it sensed things were going wrong, and kept going wrong, it might apply that brake. Makes me wonder if you have a failing brake speed sensor. Or even just a clogged tone ring on an axle.
