Thank you for any info you can scrounge. Would like to know as much as possible and specifically whether it was serviced for the hood louvers.

It's hit and miss with Carfax. Some dealers and repair shop don't turn anything in to them and some do. The place I had my old Cherokee serviced turned in everything. I had a bunch of entries on it. But the places I have had my last 3 H3's serviced, including dealers, entries have been sporadic at best. If the hood vent recall was done, any GM dealer can run the VIN and check. The things Carfax does best is Salvage Titles and most accidents that are reported to insurance companies. At least that is what I have found. I hope your search turns up clean.

Don't need the VIN just Tag number, state and engine(I5 or V8)
After looking more in to it I realized that it shows only the service history not the full history. That kind of sucks...
Not sure how this can be much of use but in any case...

Looks like the previous owner stayed on top of things. On 1-25-10 it appears work was done under a Service Contract. It may be worth it to you to see if it is still active and transferable or maybe not. Wally's Cadillac looks like they entered things on a regular basis. Good Carfax.

It's all the electrical system checks I'd be concerned about---looks like there's a ghost in the machine; from 20K to 70K that suckers been giving fits, doesn't seem like that bug has been fixed yet

Naa, I've been chasing some wierd intermittent ****, but nothing buggy enough to drive me totally crazy.

All those electrical system checks may just be a catch-all entry for a normal courtesy check for things such as lights, battery voltage etc... just depends on who is entering the information. Unless you are having issues, I wouldn't worry about it.

Could be just a change of some light bulb. I wish they would've had more info then just check this and that.

I would not trust carfax there are way to many missing reports for me when I bought my duce they gave me a carfax report and it said no accidents yet mine has had someone do enough damage that they destoryed ther right side backing where the daytime running lights are that now I have to replace the whole damn thing. I never knew the front end damage was so bad until I upgraded and put in Delta's fog lamps and saw for myself so be very CAREFUL with that report..

Same issue here. Grille was cracked, & passenger headlight was split between it and turn signal. Had to replace the headlight unit. :/ otherwise been ok as far as I can see.
